JOB PURPOSE:
Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding strategy aimed at optimizing the assimilation of new employees into the organization, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals and values. Ensure smooth function on-boarding section through team leadership, process re-design, automation and measurement of performance to KPIs. Also manages VIP referral system ensuring candidates are tracked, receive appropriate responses and manages initial contacts. Supports in the generation of UAE National candidate leads.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Oversees the on-boarding process to ensure candidates are managed efficiently, engaged, receive proper clearances (including government, visa, medical), received effective orientation programs, travel logistics and have all required passes and equipment upon joining. onboarding process of all new hires.
- Manages onboarding automation projects and is responsible for ensuring all process documentation and steps as well as procedures are kept up-to-date and adhered to diligently and are made available to concerned stakeholders.
- Ensure that all relevant stakeholders and hiring manager are updated throughout their new hire’s onboarding process.
- Lead the onboarding team to handle onboarding process of all internal employees such as contract extensions, after retirement, cross-site transfers etc.

- Make decisions regarding cost related expenses such as visas and flight tickets.

- Ensure onboarding team is providingfollow-up correspondence to new hires and Hiring Managers on the status of their joining date.
- Ensure proper documentation of new hire paperwork throughout their onboarding process is complete for example interview assessment forms, CV, Medical Clearance, PRF, Compliance Forms and more to ensure an accurate completed file of new hires
- Ensure registration of all new National Hires with the Abu Dhabi Pension.
- Plan the onboarding cycle of employees in the pipeline through close monitoring and liaison with Talent Acquisition and Operations.
- Implements approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and provides assistance to employees to enable them settle in their respective areas of assignments.
- Ensures the implementation of the day-to-day onboarding program for all new employees at EGA sites to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
- Design and develop the onboarding induction program, and any necessary changes.
- Ensure team prepares the induction and onboarding packages for all new hires and coordinates their introduction with all relevant stakeholders in coordination with the new employee’s department Manager, the Buddy (Al Nokhatha) and Admin Support to ensure a smooth start within EGA.
- Provides all newly hired employees with an overview of EGA’s objectives, functions, work environment, and Human Capital policies and procedures.
- Participates in the Induction Program as one of the presenters delivering introduction presentations to the new employees.
- Supports in communicating with all parties concerned in order to obtain information for the preparation of pre-arrival arrangements applicable and consistent with the level and status of new recruits which extends to post-arrival and until completion of probation period of respective candidates.
- Guide and support the onboarding team, ensuring effective coordination and assistance for onboarding representatives to fulfill their roles efficiently.
- Drive strategic initiatives to enhance the onboarding process, overseeing project implementation and collaborating cross-functionally to optimize new hire integration and organizational alignment.
Authority/ Decision making:
- Works within set guidelines, policies and procedures and proposes recommendations for improvements;
- Updates direct manager frequently on matters involving administrative problems or seeks guidance on contentious issues, reviews plan of action and discusses existing processes, procedures and budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree preferably in a related field such as Business Admin, Human Capital etc.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written, preferably with Arabic language skills
- Sound team leadership with ability to organize work
- Good analytical skills in developing and implementing resource onboarding strategies
- Ability to prioritize workload and demonstrate deliverables/outcomes.
- Excellent Communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Ability to prioritize the workload and urgency of the tasks given
