Emirates Global Aluminium is the world’s biggest ‘premium aluminium’ producer and the largest industrial company in the United Arab Emirates outside the oil and gas industry.  EGA is an integrated aluminium producer, with operations on four continents from bauxite mining to the production of cast primary aluminium and recycling. EGA employs over 7,000 of these people including more than 1,200 UAE Nationals. EGA operates aluminium smelters in Jebel Ali and Al Taweelah in the United Arab Emirates, an alumina refinery in Al Taweelah, a bauxite mine and associated export facilities in the Republic of Guinea, a speciality foundry in high strength recycled aluminium in Germany, and a recycling plant in the United States.

Position Title: Product analyst

Digital Transformation / Platforms & Infrastructure

JOB PURPOSE

To provide data-driven insights regarding customers and markets, to deliver valuable information throughout the product lifecycle, identify areas for improvement and contribute crucial insights that guide management decisions on product direction and investment. To serve as a key liaison between data analysis and strategic decision-making, making sure that products align with market demands and organizational goals.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop comprehensive reports and presentations utilizing charts, graphs, and tables to share with various stakeholders
• Effectively communicate data findings to various stakeholders for informed decision-making
• Present findings to senior management, substantiating product recommendations through clear and compelling presentations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence product planning and development
• Identify areas for improvement in the product lifecycle through insightful analysis
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand IT product requirements and challenges.
• Foster effective communication channels to facilitate alignment between IT solutions and business needs.
• Present findings and insights to senior management, justifying product recommendations

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or Information Technology from a reputable university. (Master’s Degree preferred)

Minimum Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role

• Excellent knowledge in Information Technology or Product Analysis
• Advanced customer service orientation
• Ability to work in a team environment and sometimes independently with minimal supervision as the task may be from time to time
• Strong conflict management, facilitation, and resolution skills
• Excellent use of the English (must) and Arabic language (preferred)
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Extensive skill handling personnel from a multi-cultural work environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to scan the external environment and to understand the impact on the business
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of UAE and EGA culture and working environment
