Senior Supervisor - Pot room Maintenancent
1. JOB PURPOSE:
To provide safe, timely, effective & efficient installation, repair & maintenance service to all the equipment in the assigned area. Implement necessary predictive/preventive/ condition based maintenance techniques and practices to minimise equipment downtime, thus enable maximum uninterrupted production at minimum cost, complying with EHS Policies.
2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Provides cost effective and efficient maintenance and repairs of equipment/facilities/components in assigned area.

Supports Operation in achieving their Production Targets and Area Maintenance in achieving their Availability & Reliability Targets.

Plans and initiates modifications to equipment/facility in order to resolve maintenance/operation problems ensuring reliable operation of equipment/facility.
-
Guarantees the appropriate PM, Planned maintenance and Corrective maintenance systems are in place and are adhered to, minimising production losses due to equipment downtime.

Supervises adherence of department personnel to all 5S Guidelines, EHS Policies, applicable Standards and Work Procedures to minimise the risk of accidents and injuries at workplace.

Oversees training and development of department personnel to have competent team that can complete required tasks effectively.

Ensures the effective and efficient utilization and control of maintenance manning and other resources deployed in area of responsibility, by setting clear guidelines for work allocation and work prioritisation, on a daily and long-term basis.

Reviews, monitors and reports performance against each KPI Target set for the Area and ensures that all the KPI Targets are met by the team.

Encourages and motivates Supervisors/Engineer and team members to participate in the Company’s Productivity enhancement & Continuous Improvement programmes.

Performs Root Cause Failure Analysis with the team recommending correct technical solutions for repetitive equipment failures.

Completes MMP, CEP and other departmental projects on time as per EGA standards and within the budget.

Conducts regular customer care meetings to enhance maintenance support to operations.

Conducts Safety walkabouts in respective and other areas and follows up corrective actions.

Supports Company’s Training & National Development Programme by providing Maintenance Training.

Co-ordinates with Shift Maintenance and other supporting departments to continuously improve equipment/facility reliability and availability.

Closely monitors the team performance & provides them with correct feedback.

Performs other related duties as required.

4. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelors’ degree in relevant field from a recognized institution/university.
Minimum Experience:
-
Must have a minimum of Three (3) years’ experience as a Supervisor in a Heavy Industrial Equipment Maintenance.
