Utility Helper I

1. JOB PURPOSE:
To carry out repetitive, highly specific, and precisely defined tasks under close and continuous supervision.
To operate tools and record information as instructed.
To assist skilled employees in the assigned area across the plant.

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assist skilled employees in either operations or maintenance while maintaining a high degree of quality and safety standards.
• Ensure housekeeping of the assigned work areas to meet the company’s cleanliness and hygiene standards, following 5S principles and instructions.
• Provide appropriate tools to the crew members.
• Hold, lift, fetch, and move parts/materials as directed.
• Perform tasks as entrusted, according to the expected performance level, following safety regulations and work procedures.

3. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Schooling and reasonable English.

Minimum Experience:

• Two years of experience in performing physical work and/or semi-skilled jobs, preferably in an industrial environment.

Skills:

• Ability to understand simple instructions (oral or written) and request clarifications (if needed) in English.
• Physically strong and agile to perform laborious tasks.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Basic numeracy skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools.
